Aeroflex model AR TIR-5 stabilized gimbal platform ready to accept your laser, flir, camera or any electro optic sensor. This system includes 1 Germanium optic (4 1/2" diamater), 1 Germanium optic (2" diameter) and 1 widefield Germanium sensor. Also includes 2 gyros - Hamilton Standard Supergryro, rate gyro part # 10-05435-083. Input range 120 degree sec. nom, Motor is 28V, 400hz, 2 phase.
The gimball size is 16". The overall height is 24" and the weight is 120 lbs. Pan Range is 360 degree (DC torque motor driven), tilt is approx 50 degree. This platform could be configured for some of the following applications:
